It is essential that all organisations and their staff who process personal data are aware of, and comply with, the GDPR. It brings with it new data protection definitions, conditions for processing, and rights and obligations on both data controllers and processors. If you have taken steps to work towards GDPR compliance then this training session can provide you with the assurance that you are on the right track. If not, it will ensure that you understand what you need to do to be on track for 25 May 2018 when the GDPR comes into force.

More about the training

These sessions will be relevant to those who process personal data within the health and social care sector. The sessions will focus on the requirements of the GDPR, together with the provisions of the Data Protection Bill (soon to become UK legislation to complement the GDPR). We will cover how the GDPR and Bill will work together to provide a new data protection legislative regime in the UK, taking into account guidance produced by the Information Commissioner’s Office and others such as the Information Governance Alliance.

The training sessions will take place in April across our London and Manchester offices.

We look forward to seeing you there and helping you prepare for the implementation of the GDPR.
