FED-IP: the Federation of Informatics Professionals

A CAMPAIGN WAS LAUNCHED AT THE eHEALTH WEEK IN LONDON ON 3RD MAY 2017 THAT INVOLVES YOU, IHRIM MEMBERS.

The campaign is known as

Well Connected: Informatics Professionals for Better Wellbeing’.

Essentially it is asking those who work with clinical information or clinical records, in whatever capacity, to take on this campaign, pledge to make a difference, and get involved.

The campaign is trying to build better health and care by bringing together and inspiring the professionals who can harness information and technology, and have the integrity to put people and their communities first. That means YOU. IHRIM members - YOU continue to be key to good record keeping and management. YOU are responsible for the clinical coding that is a core element of any electronic record.

We are all facing a very exciting yet uncertain future as technology changes the way we all work. We want you to get involved, encourage others to do so, get out of your team or department and talk to others about ‘Well Connected’ and what it stands for. Contribute to the development of the informatics community and standards.

This campaign is being run by a group of organisations and IHRIM is proud to be one of the founding professional bodies.
